Grip - One of the most important aspects of knife throwing is your grip. When gripping the knife, ensure that the spine of the handle is in full contact with the palm of your hand. Wrap your fingers around the handle with your thumb pointing toward the tip of the knife.

All participants of booked events must use the equipment supplied by Iron Nation. Only league members may bring their own axes as long as it meets league specifications. Personal axes must be inspected for safety purposes by Iron Nation staff before use at our facility.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food. Please be advised that we do not have any kitchen facilities so all food preparations must be completed off site.
No, we do not allow anyone under the age of 18 to come to our facility, but for on Sunday for Family Throw. The age limit for Family Throw is 13 years of age.
If you are 19 years of age, yes! We do not allow any outside beverages (aka BYOB) as we have our liquor license. We serve canned beer, cider, and coolers. Please keep in mind that Iron Nation is an axe throwing facility and throwing axes is our priority. We do NOT allow customers to throw if they are exhibiting any signs of intoxication at any point during your booking or walk-in. Alcohol consumption is monitored and drink limits are in place.
Yes! At Iron Nation, we have a variety of throwing axes and throwing knives available for purchase. We have our products displayed in our lobby area and our staff are ready to help you pick out the right axe for you or the perfect gift for a target sport enthusiast!
Knife throwing is available in walk-in format only. We have walk-ins during all open hours, space permitting and they are available for $20 per person for 1 hour or $15 per person for 30 minutes.
Only league members are allowed to bring in their own knives for league nights. The knives must be inspected and approved by Iron Nation staff prior to use.
We have trained coaches and multiple safety measures put in place to make knife throwing as safe as possible.
